Application of PVC spray hose in agriculture
Compared with ordinary PVC steel wire hose, fiber-reinforced PVC steel wire pipe has the following advantages:
Higher strength
Ordinary PVC steel wire pipe mainly relies on steel wire to provide strength and support. While fiber-reinforced PVC steel wire pipe adds fiber materials such as glass fiber and polyester fiber to the PVC matrix. These fibers have high tensile strength and modulus. And it can work together with steel wire to bear external forces. So that the overall strength of the pipe is significantly improved. And it can withstand greater pressure and tension, and is not easy to deform and break.
Better flexibility
The addition of fiber-reinforced materials improves the flexibility of the pipe. Fiber has certain elasticity and toughness. Thus it can better adapt to deformation when the pipe is bent or twisted. Besides, it is not easy to crack or break. In contrast, ordinary PVC steel wire pipes are relatively poor in flexibility, especially in low temperature environments, and are prone to become stiff and easily damaged when bent.
Stronger corrosion resistance
The fiber materials in fiber-reinforced PVC steel wire pipes usually have good corrosion resistance, which can enhance the resistance of the pipe to corrosive media such as chemicals, acids and alkalis. At the same time, the presence of fiber can also reduce the contact area between the PVC matrix and external corrosive substances, further improving the corrosion resistance of the pipe. When ordinary PVC steel wire pipe is in contact with corrosive media for a long time, the PVC material may be corroded and the steel wire is prone to rust, which affects the performance and service life of the pipe.
Better wear resistance
The surface of the fiber-reinforced PVC steel wire pipe is smoother, and the fiber material has higher hardness and wear resistance, which can effectively resist the friction and wear of external objects. In actual use, especially when conveying fluids containing solid particles or dragging on rough surfaces, fiber-reinforced PVC steel wire pipes are more wear-resistant than ordinary PVC steel wire pipes, which can extend the service life of the pipe and reduce the cost of use.
