The temperature range is -40℃-125℃ for PA-11, while it’s -40℃-105℃ for PA-12. After the aging resistance test in 125℃ for 1000 hours and in 150℃ for 16 hours, PA-11 still has excellent low-temperature impact resistance.
Chemical and corrosion resistant
Nylon hose can resist 50% zinc chloride fluid over 200 hours. Besides, nylon can resist the corrosion from alkali, salt, petroleum, chemical solvent, sea air and water based hydraulic fluid. What’s more, it can inhibit the grow and reproduction of fungus and germ.
Ultraviolet and aging resistant
The ultraviolet resistance could last 2-8 years according to different areas. But the ultraviolet resistance for black hoes that add UV absorbent could be 4 times than the normal nylon hose.
Compared with the metal hose, nylon hose is light in weight. The density of nylon hose is 1.01-1.06g/m3, so the weight is just 1/7 of metal hose. Besides, you never have to worry about the rust. Another important thing is that nylon hose is much cheaper than metal hose.
