The car’s brake hose is indeed an infrequent replacement of parts, but not often change is not meaning do not change. We all know the importance of the brake system. So the oil leakage of brake hose is very serious. We need to regularly check the brake hose in the maintenance. It need to be replaced immediately once the hose is found to have cracks, otherwise there is the possibility of burst at any time, so this problem must not be ignored. Then, how often should the brake hoses be replaced?
In fact, generally there is no fixed time and mileage provisions. It will be replaced as long as there is aging or leakage, it is recommended that every 30000 km or 60000 km or every three years to check and change the brake hose. Rubber hose is the most likely to cause the brake pressure attenuation. Because the rubber material is quite elastic, when the brake pedal is pressed, the oil pressure suddenly increases, and the brake pressure part is transformed into the outward expansion of the rubber tubing, so its inner diameter is forced to be large. The pressure in the brake oil circuit decreases as a result of this change, resulting in the decrease of braking force, the increase of braking distance, and the increase of braking time.
To ensure that the vehicle braking system maintains good working performance and ensures safety and reliability, the brake hose should be inspected regularly for cuts, scratches, aging and leakage.
