V0 level
This is the highest level in the flame retardant level. In the test, the flame retardant hose of V0 level usually does not burn or has only a very short burning time. And the flame does not spread. In addition, it produces very little smoke and toxic gases. Minimum impact on personnel safety and environment.
V1 and V2 levels
These two levels of flame retardant hose may have a certain burning phenomenon in the test. But the flame propagation speed is relatively slow. Compared with the V0 level, they may produce slightly more smoke and toxic gases. But it is still within a controllable range.
In addition to the above-mentioned V series levels, there are some other flame retardant level division methods. Such as V-0, V-1, and V-2 levels in the UL94 standard. These levels are also divided according to the combustion performance of the hose. But the specific test conditions and evaluation criteria may be different.
