Air tightness test
The test uses dry and clean air. Or nitrogen or other protective gases can be used as the test medium as needed. The air tightness test is carried out to detect whether the hose has any air leakage. Test method: block one end of the hose to be tested and connect the other end to the air outlet of the pressurizing device. Immerse the hose in water to remove the bubbles adsorbed on the mesh. After the air pressure stabilizes, maintain the pressure for 10 minutes and check whether the test piece has any air leakage.
Size requirements
Measure the full length, diameter, aperture, wall, etc. of the hose to see if they are within the tolerance range.
Weight requirements
Weigh the empty bottle with a scale with a sensitivity of 0.1g, which meets the standard value and tolerance range confirmed by both parties. When the net content is ≥20g, the weight of the hose is the average weight of each batch of products ±0.5g. When the net content is<20g, the weight of the hose is the average weight of each batch of products ±0.3g.
Appearance and material inspection
Observe the appearance of the hose and check whether there are cracks, damage, deformation, etc. Check whether the material of the hose meets the requirements. For example, whether materials with good performance such as pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance are used.
Corrosion resistance test
Immerse the hose in corrosive liquid to check the hose’s corrosion resistance.
Bending radius test
Measure the radius of the hose when it is bent to evaluate its bending performance.
Burst pressure test
Test the hose’s limit burst pressure by increasing pressure.
Service life test
Simulate actual use and test the hose for a long time to evaluate its service life.
Cyclic fatigue test
Test the hose’s fatigue life by simulating cyclic fatigue in actual use
