Different type of fire hose has different service life. Because fire hoses need to withstand high water pressure during use. If the time is too long, there will be adhesion of the inner wall. Rubber and plastic hose and lining glue belt maintenance methods are different. According to the relevant national regulations, if the fire hose has been used once, it must be replaced or it must be maintained by the fire protection maintenance unit, and it must be tested at least once a year.
So, how to extend the service life? In fact, as long as the folding line position of the hose is often replaced, the service life will be greatly extended. The method is as follows:
1. Straighten the water belt of the folding new suture line, and then fill the water through it, so that the water belt has a slight hardness, so as to facilitate the folding of the new suture line;
2. Two people fold and roll each water-saving strip at the same time. One person starts to fold the sewing thread from any end point by hand, and the other person follows and rolls it according to the new folded line;
3. After the water belt is rolled and dried in the sun, the new folding line can be fixed.
In this way, the service life of any type of hose can be greatly extended.
