A garden hose is a flexible tube or pipe that is to convey water from a water source. For example a spigot or faucet, to a garden, lawn or other outdoor area. Garden hose absorbs PVC as the raw material. But some people take layflat hose as garden hose. PVC garden hose is available in a range of length, size and style to fit your garden work. It is a common tool garden, lawn care, washing cars and many other outdoor tasks.
How to connect the garden hose into a faucet
First of all, make sure your garden hose is clean and free of any kink or twist.
Then, locate the spigot or faucet you want to connect the hose to. It should have a male thread end that sticks out from the wall or ground.
After that, attach a rubber washer or other fitting to the male end of the spigot or faucet. Because this will help create a tight seal and prevent leaks.
Then screw the female end of the garden hose onto the male end of the spigot or faucet. Turn the hose clockwise until you fasten it to a safe degree.
After that, turn on the water to test the connect. If you notice any leaks, tighten the hose or add another rubber washer.
Once you are done using the hose, turn off the water and disconnect the hose from the spigot or faucet. Be sure to drain any remaining water from the hose before storing it.
