Do you know how to identify the best PVC vinyl braided hose?
First, the inner and outer wall of the high quality PVC braided hose is smooth and feels good, while the low quality one is rough.
Second, you can cut off both ends of the middle hose of the PVC vinyl hose when measure wall thickness as a sample test to prevent some illegal manufacturers do something about the actual wall thickness at both ends of the hose.
Third, cut a few centimeters of steel wire of PVC hose and repeatedly folded steel wire to test the strength and toughness of the steel wire. Poor quality steel wire folded once or twice will break and high quality PVC hose steel wire needs special tools to cut off. The quality of the steel wire determines the quality of the whole pipe. The PVC hose with quality problems caused by the steel wire is prone to irreversible deformation.
Forth, check whether the wall thickness is uniform. The inner cavity and outer edge of good quality are evenly distributed as standard circular annular hose wall. Take PVC hose with inner diameter of 89mm and wall thickness of 7mm as an example. The wall thickness of the hose with poor quality can reach 7.5mm, and the thin part is only 5.5mm. It is easy to work under greater pressure, and the uneven stress on the hose wall will lead to PVC hose burst or deformation affecting the normal use.
Fifth, check whether there are bubbles on hose wall or other visible objects are colorless and transparent. The wall of high quality PVC hose is crystal clear without any impurity. The color of defective PVC hose is yellow, which may be caused by decomposition, aging or long-term improper storage due to improper handling in the production process.
Six, high quality PVC vinyl braided hose without any other petrochemical products smell in addition to a little plastic smell. And inferior hoses have a pungent smell of diesel fuel, especially in the hot summer days.
