First, smear lubricants on the surface like talcum powder, fatty acid powder and so on.
But the rubber hose treated with such method will pollute the contactant. The lubricant effect is medium while the lubricant period is limited. So we don’t suggest such method.
Second, paint coatings like polyurethane coating.
You have to do a lot of complex treatment work like cleaning and heating on the surface. The smooth effect is good and the effect period is long. But it will have an effect on the elasticity because the surface is covered with other material. How ever, you don’t have to worry about this too much because the effect to elasticity is very small.
Third, add some special lubricants to the raw material.
These lubricants will separate out to the surface after the moulding of rubber and play a part in lubricant. The lubricant effect is medium (depend on the kind of lubricant and the dosage). The effect period is very long and you don’t have to do treatment work. In another hand, if you use mould, it will provide the degree of finish on the surface. If pressing or extruding moulding, it will change to the material that easy to pressing. This will have positive effect on the smooth. We suggest you this method.
Last is to change the rubber material according to the contacttants. But this will change the elasticity and we don’t suggest you such way.
