How to Store PVC Hose?

Storage: Hose products should be stored and placed in such a way as not to withstand excessive stress, elongation or deformation, and avoid contact with sharp objects or the ground. Use storage racks to store hose products if possible. Coiled hoses or hose assemblies should be laid flat, not stacked. If stacking is unavoidable, there should be a limit to the height of the stacking so as not to cause permanent deformation of the hoses stacking at the bottom. The coiled hose products shall not be suspended from the stakes. Hoses and hose assemblies supplied in a straight state shall be stored flat and shall not bend. Large diameter hoses used in the petroleum industry should be installed at the end.

Animal bite: Hose products should be protected from rodents and should be properly protected if there is such a risk.

Out of storage: Care should be taken to ensure that the outgoing hose products are stored under correct storage conditions and consistent with their intended use. Therefore, it is important to mark the different types of hose products in stock. Hose assemblies with non-permanent fittings, such as those with adjustable clamp-gripper structures, should be inspected to ensure reliable performance of the fittings.

Return to storage: Emptying the transported material before the used hose assembly is returned to storage. Attention should be paid to hoses used to transport chemicals, explosive, flammable or corrosive materials. Hoses should be inspected after cleaning and before returning to storage to determine their suitability for continued use.
