The choice of paint spray hose mainly depends on its material, and its inner diameter.
Paint spray hose currently on the market mainly has two materials, one is the fiber hose, the other is the steel wire hose.
Fiber hose is made of fiber and special synthetic rubber together. It has the characteristics of pressure resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance and corrosion resistance. And it has high pressure-bearing capacity and superior pulse performance. Another characteristic of it is softness in use and small deformation under pressure.
Steel wire hose is made of steel wire and rubber. Its strength is higher than fiber hose, and has good fatigue resistance. But it is not easy to bend, so the construction is relatively laborious. Spraying latex paint can use steel wire hose.
Steel wire high-pressure hose is made of steel wire and rubber, its strength is higher than that of fiber high-pressure hose, and it has good fatigue resistance. But it is not easy to bend, so the construction is relatively laborious, generally spraying latex paint can use steel high-pressure hose.
The inner diameter of the paint spray hose is also very important. Different coatings should use different inner diameters. The inner diameter of the hose is 1/2”, 1/4”, 3/8” and so on. The 1/4” is generally spraying latex paint or paint this paint, and 1/2” is spraying putty and other more viscous paint up.
There are several lengths of paint spray hose, such as 10m, 15m, 20m, etc. If the length of the hose is not long enough, we can use connector to increase the length . In the selection of the connector, choose copper or stainless steel material , the service life will be longer. The heavier the weight of the connector, the thicker the thickness of the hose, the better the quality.
