Storage period

The storage period should not be too long. Normally it’s 4 years for hose and 2 years for assembly. You should obey the principle that “first in, first out”. This means that you should first take out the hose which is put in first.

Store the hoses in different specifications like type and size. Then mark them to avoid chaos. Thus you can find what you want easily.

Natural environment

You should store the hydraulic hose away from sunlight and hard artificial lights. If the size is larger than 76mm, it’s normally stores in straight and plate state.

Storage space

If the storage space is limited and you have to stack the hydraulic hose, the height should not too high. Because the heavy height may cause the hose at the bottom distort. During the storage time, you should move around the hose regularly, normally once a season. Besides, don’t put weight on the hose to avoid the damage caused by squeezing.

Storage temperature

The storage temperature should be not higher than 90℃ and less than -30℃. The temperature between 0-15℃ is much more better. While 15℃ is the best. Besides, there should not be fluctuation of the temperature. If there is any heat resource, the distance should meet the temperature requirement as above.

Equipment in storage area

There should not be equipment that produce ozone like mercury vapor lamp. Equipment that produce electricity is also not allowed like high voltage equipment and electrical machine. Besides, there should not be equipment that produce magnetic field. Because the change of magnetic field will cause induced current inside the metal fitting, then cause heat.

Special hose storage

If the hose is used for food or medicine, you should also keep the hose clean besides the requirements above.
