PP Guard, Protect Your Hose And Save Your Money

During the usage of hydraulic hose and pneumatic hose, they may hurt by external impact or sharp equipment and their working life may reduced and you even have to change a new one. Is there any method to protect your hose? The answer is certain. You need a spiral guard to achieve such goal.

Besides external impact, spiral guard can protect your hose from cutting and wear. It can help your hose resist extreme weathers and operate conditions. It can prolong your hose’s working life and more important, it’s much cheaper than change a new hose.

Normally, the spiral guard is made from PP, PE or PA and by thermoplastic extrude technology. The spiral guard is smooth and will not hurt the hose. PP has good elasticity but poor abrasion resistance, while PE has excellent abrasion resistance but poor elasticity. We OrientFlex combined these two material and make our spiral guard with both elasticity and abrasion resistance. We use the improved PP material with 280℃ melt which is produced by Petro China and only us have this material.

Compared with other spiral guards, our PP material meld index is 1.9 which is much higher than others which is 1.3. Our material has low molecular weight and makes the guard exquisite in appearance. The hardness of our spiral guard is 97 which is higher than other suppliers whose is 86. This means our product has better abrasion resistance. Besides, our tensile stress is 28.9MPa and higher than others which is 25.5MPa, which improve that our spiral guard has higher resistance to impact.

The size of our guard is from 8mm-200mm. It can be made into any length within 50 meters for the diameter under 30 mm, while it’s with in 10 meters for the diameter above 32mm. Besides the hose, we offer customized service for color and surface type. Red, black, yellow, orange blue and other colors are available, cambered or plat surface are available as well.
