Description of Silicone Fibre Glass Sleeve
Material: it’s made from high quality silicone and reinforced with glass fibre
Color: red, black, gray, blue and silver
Package: the regular length is 15 or 20 meters/roll
Application
Silicone Glass Fibre Sleeve is mainly apply for steel factory, smelt and fire fighting to provide insulation and protection.
It’s also used in high temperature applications like power, chemical, metallurgy and marine. It’s to protect the heating area wire, fluid pipeline, joint, roller bed and oil hose.
Before put into market, the silicone glass fibre sleeve has passed many tests. Then let me introduce you next.
High and low temperature test
Put the sleeve into constant temperature furnace at 260℃ for 48 hours (-70℃). While there should no aging crack and peeling on the coating and sleeve surface.
Coating test
After constant test in the constant temperature furnace, the coat will not fall off and dissolve.
Burning test
The sleeve is hard to burn. It meet the UL “VW-1” and CSA “HFS” tests.
Temperature resistance test
There is no anomaly in 260℃ for 2000 hours. And the glass fibre remains perfect in 1200℃ for 30s.
Flame retardant test
The burn speed is more than 45s/25mm. The insulation could be grade C, which is much better than grade H.
