If the crack is in the middle part of the radiator hose, you can tie the leak with adhesive tape, clean the hose before tying, and when the leaking part is dry, wrap the adhesive tape around the leaking part of the hose. Due to the high water pressure in the hose when the engine is working, you should try to tie the adhesive tape tightly. If you don’t have tape on hand, wrap the plastic around the tear and then cut the old cloth into strips to wrap around the radiator hose. Sometimes the hose crack is large, after the entanglements may still leak, then you can open the water tank cover, in order to reduce the pressure in the channel and leakage.
After taking the above measures, the engine speed should not be too fast, and the engine should be driven as high as possible. Pay attention to the pointer position of the water temperature meter during driving, and stop to cool down or replenish the cooling water when the water temperature is too high.
