During the thermal oxygen aging process of SBR hose, CR hose, NBR hose and EPDM hose, the products after chain breakage are mainly intertwined. It destroys the elastic structure of the industrial hose, so it becomes hard and brittle.
The hose will degrade when heated to a certain temperature. Natural rubber hoses begin to decompose low molecular substances when the temperature exceeds 200℃. The thermal stability of a hose mainly depends on its chemical composition and structure. Among general-purpose hoses, butadiene rubber hose has the best thermal stability, followed by SBR hose.
The way to delay the aging of hoses is to add antioxidants. Anti-aging agents can capture active substances produced during the thermal and oxygen aging process of hoses. Then it has the effect of maintaining the hose.
The origin of thermal oxygen aging of high and low pressure hoses lies in unsaturated bonds. Silicone hose, fluorine hose, butyl hose, PU hose, acrylic hose, etc. that tend to have a fuller structure are elastomers that are resistant to heat aging.
