In our daily life and industrial production, we will use a variety kinds of hoses. While the plastic hose is the most common one. However, there are many kinds of plastic hoses on the market. While the typical ones are PVC hose and PE hose. Both of them have a clear hose body and they look the same. Then next, let me introduce you the two hoses.
PE is the most common plastic in life. PE pipe is also called high density PE pipe. It has high strength, high temp, corrosion and wear resistance. Besides, it is nontoxic. Therefore, it widely serves in the field of water supply and drainage. Because it does not rust, it is an ideal pipe material to replace ordinary iron water pipes.
The main component of PVC hose is polyvinyl chloride. The addition of other ingredients can make it more tough and durable. PVC pipe is extruded by hot pressing. It is the earliest plastic pipe that we develop and apply. PVC pipes resists strong corrosion, wear, ozone, weak acids and weak alkali. Besides, it is highly flexible and easy to bond. What’s more, it is more affordable than other plastic hoses and rubber hoses. However, they are only suitable for water supply systems with a delivery temp no more than 45℃. PVC pipe has both soft type and hard pipe. And it is ideal for drainage, waste water, chemical, food, slurry, gas and vacuum system.
