Some customers reported that when the pipe is bent to a large degree (such as 180 degrees), it will have many cracks in the open air for a week, which seems to be aging. However, for some other manufacturers, this crack is not very obvious when the rubber content is relatively low. What is the reason?
Reasons that cause rubber hose crack after bending
1. Cracks are easy to occur after bending, which may be due to poor ozone performance and low rubber content. We can consider improving it by adjusting the formula.
2. If the rubber content is relatively low and it is less likely to crack, it depends on what is filled. The choice of raw rubber type and the improvement of the protection system may improve it.
3. The rubber hose was bent 180 degrees and exposed outdoors for seven days, and cracked. It may not have much to do with the rubber content of the hose. It is more likely that after bending, stress concentration accelerates the aging of the hose. After seven days of exposure, the ultraviolet rays in the sun act on the industrial hose, which ages because of ozone and crack.
